Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Walker Business Machines (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.walkerbusiness.com or contact us.
Information we collect
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, what you need help with, anything you tell us in the message box, and whether you ticked the box consenting to receive text messages.
We also collect standard technical information automatically when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site. This information is collected through your browser's request headers and standard server logs.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to answer your enquiry, quote and supply the products and services you ask about, arrange collection or delivery, and keep in touch about your order. We use technical information to operate, secure, and improve the site, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the site (for example, to remember session preferences). We do not run third-party advertising cookies or marketing pixels on this site.
We use Vercel Web Analytics for privacy-friendly, cookie-less, aggregated measurement of page views and basic site performance. No personal information or persistent identifier is collected through this measurement.
On pages that contain a form we use automated checks to detect and block spam submissions, such as hidden fields that only automated software fills in. If Google reCAPTCHA is enabled on this site, it also collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) and sends it to Google for analysis to distinguish humans from bots; that information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and applies only while reCAPTCHA is in use.
If we add additional analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before activating them. You can also control cookies through your browser's settings, disabling strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and tick the consent box on our enquiry form, we may send you text messages about your enquiry: answering your question, confirming that an order is ready for collection, and arranging a delivery time. Customers who opt in may also receive occasional offers on our products. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
The two consents are separate: agreeing to messages about your enquiry does not opt you in to offers, and neither is required to submit the form or to buy anything from us.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers we use to deliver the messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to operate, for example, our CRM and lead-management platform (GoHighLevel), our website hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our bot-protection provider (Google reCAPTCHA), and our email and SMS providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform services for us. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we instruct.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company, our clients, or others.
Data security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and access controls on the systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services, evaluate fit, respond to your inquiry, and for legitimate business and legal purposes (including tax, audit, and dispute-resolution requirements), after which we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, or to limit how we use your information. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below, we'll respond in line with the law that applies to you.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have additional rights regarding the personal information we hold about you, including the rights to know what we collect, request deletion, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of "sales" or targeted advertising (we do not engage in either as defined by these laws). You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To submit a request, email us using the details in "Contact us" below.
